“Not until we are lost do we begin to find ourselves.”
-Henry David Thoreau, Walden
“Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings,” says Clarence Odbody, the angel in the 1946 Christmas classic film, It’s a Wonderful Life. Although this ice bell in the picture doesn’t physically ring, the clarity of the reflection rang true for me. I let my kayak drift near this remnant of winter for a long pause. The stillness of this wonder of nature gave me a slice of self-discovery. Wings? A sense of PEACE resonated clearly within.
Can you pause now and ask yourself, what kind of PEACEFUL experience do I want to have today?

What a gift this is every day to pause and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. You have been a blessing, as always.
Stop the rush that the holiday brings and take a breath and be grateful of all the blessings I have been given.
Thank you for your daily reflection.
Wish I was in my kayak paddling with you and seeing this with my own eyes!
What a beautiful reflection!
